Bellacures-LA

To my fellow Californians and touristas of Los Angeles…

I received this info. from an email regarding a lovely spa in LA on Robertson Blvd. The menu sounds delish and offers a wide variety in services when it comes to your “everyday run of the mill” manis and pedis. The spa even features a signature homemade organic scrub which contains Indian sugar crystals-snazzy! From mint soaks, walnut scrubs, and to even a microdermabrasion treatment…your hands and feet will feel well pampered. If not, it’s a perfect excuse to stop by the candy store, the MAC pro-store and treat yourself to some goodies-which is down the street! Enjoy:

Bellacures’ expanded service menu and product line Bella of the Ball Little things in life cheer us up: black and white cookies, new strappy wedges, shiny manicures. Little things can also piss us off: dried out biscuits, excruciating heels, bloody cuticles. So when in need of a little pick-me-up, it’s important to indulge properly. Bellacures has long been a safe haven for luxury-seekers. Now the hot manicure spot has expanded their service menu for hands and feet to include an Intense Moisture treatment with rich butter cream, Exfoliating Walnut Scrub, Microdermabrasion Mani/Pedi, Dry Hand & Nail Therapy with hot oil, plus Winter, Minty Clean, Softer Soles and Callus Repair Pedicures. Bellacures is even offering treatments with their new homemade organic scrub with Indian sugar crystals, Dead Sea salt and grape seed oils, available for purchase at the salon. $9-$55, 239 N. Robertson Blvd., (310) 550-5822, bellacures.com

PS…syl, this may help your quest in searching for the perfect “pedi-cure”Wink

HAPPY beautifying everyone-Chastity

Bella Pedicure – Nail Forum

The Nail Forum – Porter Ranch
19719 Rinaldi Street
Northridge, CA 91326
(818) 832-9100

Ok everyone, brace yourselves because I just might have experienced the most fabulous pedicure in the entire valley!! The Nail Forum is a busy hum of beauty-activity with the uber-clean (at least to the human eye) spa stations. Top of the line massage chairs – like the kind from The Sharper Image, individually wrapped pedicure tools and add ons that are indeed the additional $10.00 (extra sloughing or longer massage @ $1.00 per minute upon request). It’s bliss for your tootsies and will end up costing you $35.00 and has a bunch of add-ons (check out the menu)…and ahhhh, enjoy!

Nail Spa LA

NAILSPA SALON
20423 Devonshire Blvd. (Trader Joe Shopping Center)
Chatsworth, CA 91311
818-998-8900

The NailSpa has a sign outside stating that they believe in top quality Spa services at affordable prices. The real deal? Absolutely! I was really amazed at the quality of service, the level of cleanliness and actually am able to have my appointments actually READY on time!.

eLUXURY

Best of the Best:
Victor for French Manicure gel acrylic combo nails. Super fast, amazingly perfect nails.
Waxing: Staci for legs, eyebrows, arms
Massage: Connie. Simply Amazing! Hint: bring your own towel/sheet because they line the massage bed with that tissue paper similar to the doctors office. But Connie is so amazing that you soon forget the crinkle sound in your ears.

To Top it all off, the prices are competative to the filthy nailshops that you will find in the inner valley!

Visit NailspaLA.com for more info – and additional locations.

Bliss Spa NYC

Hilton New York
Bliss Spa

1335 Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York, United States 10019
Tel: +1-212-586-7000 Fax: +1-212-315-1374
website: Hilton New York City
Bliss Spa and Fitness Lounge
Service: Mani-Pedi

As far as New York City space is concerned, Bliss Spa at the HIlton is actually tranquill and actually feels like a rejuvinating spa, surprisingly. Typically NYC gives me claustrophobic vibes, but this cozy spa was actually breezy with friendly staff members and top of the line products. I made a reservation from my room, took the elevator down for a quick mani/pedi with no wait time and zipped back to my room to enjoy the rest of the site seeing adventures the city had to offer (i.e. 5th Avenue shopping). Thumbs up!
