Nuts about Nuts
You can’t go wrong with a handful of nuts a day—walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, macadamia and pistachio nuts contain Omega 3 fats, which are great for your heart. Raw, unsalted nuts and seeds are best. I was reading in one of my SELF mags that having a handful of almonds & as little as 2 brazil nuts will meet your required anti-aging stuff. I will look up the article online and see if I can post it.

DermaDoctor – OMG!
I swapped for a tube of the DermaDoctor Wrinkle Revenge cleanser which does have some glycolic acid in it but has super minimal sting (unlike the hardcore stingy-ness of previous reviews on facials w/ GA and Murad’s Vit.C facial – Ouch!!!) on MAU and I am SOLD on it’s non -stingy get your face uber clean qualities! After being super curious of the DermaDoctor stuff, I also purchased the microfiber hair towel which is way lighter for your head than a regular bath towel, better for your hair, easy to travel with AND will actually take out alot of the moisture so that you can go straight to blow drying – or slick it into a pony – as I tend to do most of the summer.
Anywhoo – here is a quicklink to some of my hand-picked future purchases from DermaDoc – hook it up!!

Clarins Night Fluid
I decided to try the pricey Clarin’s formula…partly because it was a completely new brand and also to debunk the myth that if a product is labeled in a different exotic language and is in the higher price scale, then it will work better. So after a good 1 month long run with Clarin’s, I have to say I am not really impressed. The lotion is light, but at night, I almost feel as if my skin needs to be more immersed in moisture to get through the night – especially during the winter. Another thing that I am not too fond of is that it smells so very perfumy – kind of like the old women at church. Soooo not uber-hip organic botanical that makes me feel like I am at a resort spa
After 2 months of semi-regular use, I still don’t see any significant benefits to intrigue me to purchase Clarins products in the future. 2 thumbs down!

Aveda Tourmaline Radiance Fluid
I am using Aveda Tourmaline charged radiance serum right now, but to be honest, I havent seen any additional ‘radiance’ so far…usually I am a humongous Aveda fan but I’m not sure this was worth the $65.00…you know? Has anyone had any positive results and can perhaps suggest some alternative usage to get more of a result?
