Kat Von D has Own Makeup – Yikes!

So Kat Von D launched her own makeup line available for a “limited time’ (read: to see if it sells) at Sephora.com. The colors are super fall 07-like, and if you ask me, and since this is my site, I’m going to assume that you asked me, tattoo design stuff is soooo last season. Maybe even 2 seasons ago now that I think about it.  Maybe if she would have launched 2 fall seasons ago along with Ed Hardy, it may have been a huge success. Now? Anyone can get a private labeling makeup line from pretty much anywhere and while Sephora is a great outlet for distribution,  um, personally, I think she wears MAC, and I’m not going for it…

For now. We all know I’ve eaten my words many times over. Here’s the method to my madness: I give Kat her props at inking flesh. I wouldn’t, however, trust her recommendation on actual SKIN products to put on my face – but then again, I wouldn’t really get a tattoo either. It’s kind of like Salt n Peppa coming out with a hair line. Which is yet, another Dione Warwick type phenom, and totally another post on another day, maybe even in another decade.
