SoPhyto Mega Omegas Day Face Moisturiser
Ok, so I posted earlier that I had to stop using Sophyto’s Mega Omega Day Face Moisturizer due to the itchiness that it has started causing, but to be honest, I am kind of glad to not be using it anymore because it just wasn’t working. I feel kind of bad that it didn’t work too, because from the literature that came with it, it is a very organic and green product. I just HATE when natural products don’t work very well.
Being that 90% of all the ingredients are food grade and ayurvedic in properties (love), I really, really wanted it to work. But it just didn’t. And another thing…why does it smell like paint? Every time I applied it, it reminded me of the construction days of my kitchen remodel. Aren’t there organic, pleasant smelling aromatherapy products that could have been added to do away with the paint smell? I’m just asking…
Anyway, my mom always taught me to look at the silver lining in any bad situation. And so I have my gratitude comment for this, in that even though my customized questionaire didn’t produce a fantastic product at SkinCareRX.com, they did offer a $20 giftcard towards any purchase on the site, and the DO carry Dermalogica. And we all know I have never met a Dermalogica product I didn’t like!
I can’t believe that she is smelling the product and saying that it smells lovely. WHATTTT????
My dermatologist recommended this for my eczema, he told me the smell was the omega oils in it. I started using it and to be honest for a few seconds it did smell like the omegas I take each morning, but I could live with that : ) it really helped my skin, no more flaky dry patches that I used to get. I’m sorry it didn’t work for the other lady, it can be frustrating trying to find the right moisturiser. Good luck and I love your posts. Lianne
so your doctor recommended it for eczema – do you have it on your body? So I guess what I’m trying to ask is, my mother has eczema in the area between her thumb and her forefinger. Do you think that it would help her? Hmmm…I’m going to do some research on it. Thanks so much for your input!!!
I gave my remaining bottle of the sophyto to my aunt who suffers from exzema on her face, I am REALLY hoping that it works and is beneficial for her! I will be posting a review from her perspective on my video channel.

No I had the eczema on my face, sml patches here and there that had haunted me since childhood. Would flair up every once in while. I’ve beenusing this since Dec of last year and I haven’t had (touch wood) any flair ups since. I ran out of the Mega Omegas and started using Aveeno until my order arrived, Guess what? the eczema came back. When my Mega Omegas arrived, I immediately started using it and to this day I’ve been all clear. How did your aunt do?
