Connie Gives Good Massage
My last massage with Connie was unbelievable. Luckily, I threw my ipod into my bag early monday morning in the event I was able to squeeze in an appt. at the last minute….because remember, if you are going to get a massage with Connie the Cultivator of Natural High, you are going to NEED an ipod, because the massage room is right next to the waxing room. And why is it that whenever I have an appt, there is always some chick in the next room getting a brazilian and specifically discussing the details of her genitalia on volume 4?
Anyway, I had my ipod, and my ringer on off. And a super slow hypnotic ambient mix that I created especially for the days I need to get into the Drone Zone…and god almight, I went there. This massage was SO good that I woke up drooling through the face hole thing on the table and had to actually get down and wipe up my babas off the ground!
So yea, if you want to escape the world for 30 minutes or so, hit Connie the Cultivator up at NailSpa LA in Chatsworth. Tell her Spa-View sent you and maybe I’ll get a discount. LOL!

Spa Sanctuary ~ Granada Hills
I finally had a saturday free of mom-duty…so off I went to Spa Sanctuary in Granada Hills.
I had meaning to visit this particular place for over a year, or rather, ever since I was getting thier snail-mail spam. And I am SO glad I went! It sits on the corner of a grocery store market with super easy parking and a nice little get away right in the valley. There’s a salon which takes up half of the space, and the spa area is actually behind closed doors so it truly is quiet and you don’t really hear the buzz of the salon.

Aroma-Listic Day Spa & Salon
29020 Agoura Rd, Suite A1
Agoura Hills, CA 91301
What a cute spot in Agoura Hills! Aroma-Listic is located right behind Padre’s (which has fab italian food) and has a cherub-palace-victorian feel (check out thier website!). Plenty of good parking, and a very clean relaxing feel. I had a basic haircut appt. and was also treated to an essential oil scalp massage…fabulous! I did indeed enjoy my visit to Aromalistic and will be back again soon for the signature Massage with Pedicure!

Valley Day Spa – Reseda, California
Valley Day Spa
19255 Vanowen Street
Reseda, CA 91335
(818) 757-7088
website
Ok people, check this review out because it really is amazing…well, the spa is amazing, I don’t think my writing is up to amazing standards lol. Ok anyway, I won’t even lie, I have been living and working in the valley for a little over 8 years now off and on, and I have seen the ads on bus stops and billboards etc for "Valley Day Spa" and it just looked so clip-art-corny that I never went. Finally, my nail guy continuously is telling me to try the Day Spa on Tampa
Ok so I figure what the heck, let me see what it’s about. I logged onto the website twice, but never made the appt. I dunno the website just didn’t do much for me, but then I remembered how I went for the okie-doke on the Ultimate Skin website judgement vs the actual visit, so I go ahead and book the appointment.
OMG you have GOT to go to Valley Day Spa!

Emilee’s Intrigue – Burke Williams Spa
Burke Williams Spa
Sherman Oaks Galleria
www.burkewilliamsspa.com
One of BW’s “signature treatments” – Emilee’s Intrigue is just simply fabulous. I have to be honest here and say that I think that this is my absolute favorite spa treatment I have ever gotten, and even while a couple of times my therapist wasn’t the best, the results are overall fantastic. The two things that I will say is this:
1. Don’t plan to do anything constructive afterwards, you will be so relaxed it’s almost as if you took a couple of valium and are just sitting in the drone zone…and
2. Get to the spa at least 30 minutes early to totally enjoy the spa itself- the ammenities are beautiful, totally catered to your needs and soooo worth every single minute that you are there!
