Teeth Whitening Maintenance w/ Elgydium
So I’m about a week into my use of Elgydium (how do you even pronounce that I wonder?) Teeth whitening paste, which I’m really liking alot, and I’ll tell you why. It has natural peppermint oils instead of some crazy mouth burning stuff that some other brands have (namely, Crest). I’ll do a full video review of my week in review though. For more information on the product that I’m using & likeing. visit Sante Active USA.com another plus is that they take paypal!

Have you heard of “Dust It“? Sure, hair powders are all the rage of 2007, but today I experienced a whole new realm of hair powders! I had an early appointment with Georgie B. to get my hair extensions tightened up for the upcoming holiday, as well as do some color correction and go a medium shade of auburn. I didn’t do my hair of course, and it was a bit oily and ragged.
Once I was actually IN the cold and the rain, I changed my mind about getting the color done, because the last thing I wanted to do was sit around with wet hair. Instead of letting me walk around with brand new tightened extensions and oily hair, Georgie used some Osis “Dust It’ throughout my hair. Dud, it felt so soothing, light and refreshing. Almost like foot powder, without it being foot powder!
I did a quick google search and found it running around $17 from various beauty supply stores. I am going to have to get a bottle for those days when I just don’t feel like washing, for a quick mattifying option.

I just started using Pedi-Relax a 3 part foot care kit. So far, I absolutely love it! I am going to be posting a more thorough review once I’ve given it a week’s worth of usage, so be sure to stay tuned.
Gotta keep your feet looking good, regardless of what else is going on! Even if summer is a long way off, now is the time to keep your toes extra moisturized & recovered if they are dry due to cold or just lack of attention during the winter months. Plus you don’t want to get caught trying on shoes at all the after X-mas shoe sale with crusty looking feet!!!!

SoPhyto Mega Omegas Day Face Moisturiser
Ok, so I posted earlier that I had to stop using Sophyto’s Mega Omega Day Face Moisturizer due to the itchiness that it has started causing, but to be honest, I am kind of glad to not be using it anymore because it just wasn’t working. I feel kind of bad that it didn’t work too, because from the literature that came with it, it is a very organic and green product. I just HATE when natural products don’t work very well.
Being that 90% of all the ingredients are food grade and ayurvedic in properties (love), I really, really wanted it to work. But it just didn’t. And another thing…why does it smell like paint? Every time I applied it, it reminded me of the construction days of my kitchen remodel. Aren’t there organic, pleasant smelling aromatherapy products that could have been added to do away with the paint smell? I’m just asking…
Anyway, my mom always taught me to look at the silver lining in any bad situation. And so I have my gratitude comment for this, in that even though my customized questionaire didn’t produce a fantastic product at SkinCareRX.com, they did offer a $20 giftcard towards any purchase on the site, and the DO carry Dermalogica. And we all know I have never met a Dermalogica product I didn’t like!

True Blue Spa : Body Scrub
I’m In the Mood for Scrub is the body scrub product du jour at Bath & Body Works (BBW).

Since I had a coupon, I used it towards the purchase of this – and you will need it because this little bad boy costs $20. FOR REAL. $20 for bath body scrub is way too much money in my opinion, especially since you can find lots of scrubs at Marshall’s or TJMaxx for under $10 bucks. This stuff isn’t really anything special, it works just like any other body scrub, lathers up rather nice, rinses clean, and will leave you skin feeling nice. The smell is rather nuetral so it can work for either gender without issue. It kind of has a clean soap-ish smell. But again, no big deal, and totally not worth $20. I would buy it again if it was closer to $7.50, but not over $10 for sure.
Tasty Tidbits:
On your purchase reciept from BBW, there is a toll free number at the bottom that you can call and answer a few questions (I swear, it’s less than a 5 minute process) and then the automated system gives you a code that you write down and get $10 off a $30 purchase at your next visit to BBW. Just an FYI
Did you know that Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works are sister companies? Interesting, don’t you think??
