Ok so the buzz word about town (at least here in Porter Ranch) is “Chinese Foot Massage” which is referring to the new herbal foot spa treatment that is at a few locations - which I intend on hunting down in the near future - for an hour for $20 bucks. What?? Must investigate!
Awwww, the hottest man in hollywood has, well, gone hollywood! Check out George Clooney’s new choppers. Ugh. I think they make him look old and creepy. His teeth prior to the new dentures added a cuteness factor - you know?
I dunno. I’m a sucker for fabulous teeth, but I think I should also add that I like actual teeth, not dentures. Maybe he should have just gotten some whitening done to them or something. 
I know this is already a couple months old, but it still bothers me kind of.
In case you haven’t heard, West Coast Choppers owner/creator Jesse James is the new face of Kiehl’s. Oo I can’t wait for the campaign to start…it should be better than Becks! I’d much rather see a man’s facial expression than in his digitally enhanced tighty-whities…but that’s just me, and I’m a girl 
Anyway, I’ve not had any response for the Kiehl’s men’s line, but I do have a couple of sister in laws that are fans of the lip gloss, and I have the drying mask from the skincare line, and it’s pretty nice, pretty reasonable, and available at your local Nordstrom’s.

Nothing is more sexy than your dude having dope skin and has enough sense than just thinking soap and water will do the trick. That’s all fine and dandy when you’re young but just like us gals, age will eventually catch up and if you didn’t take the proper precautions in the beginning, the bar soap will no longer cut it and then it’ll be too late. Us ladies take the time to keep ourselves up and look good, so our dudes should do the same. There are two men in my life who I know will benefit from a professional manicure AND pedicure. There is just something about a dude’s feet that is just so…crusty. Ew. Anyway, I took one of the men to get a pedi with me the other day, finally…after telling him that you can do an add on for a foot massage for $1 per minute or somewhere in that dollar ballpark at the NailForum Porter Ranch. So he agreed to go with, and we booked our appt for the morning when it’s less crowded and mid-week for the same reason. Now he loved every minute of it - and will tell you if you ask him, but he simply refuses to post a review here…so in his words: “It was worth every penny and I don’t know why I waited so long”. So there you have it. Men like pedicures too.
I know, I know…you think that I fell victim to the proactive infomercials…I must say that Kelly Clarkson’s promo was my favorite (they have a poll on proactive.com) but here’s the jist of it all: I have a teenage son who struggles with typical acne and after spending tons of money on over the counter medicated soaps, pads lotions & potions, I figured that this would be the last try before heading to the dermatologist.
My last massage with Connie was unbelievable. Luckily, I threw my ipod into my bag early monday morning in the event I was able to squeeze in an appt. at the last minute….because remember, if you are going to get a massage with Connie the Cultivator of Natural High, you are going to NEED an ipod, because the massage room is right next to the waxing room. And why is it that whenever I have an appt, there is always some chick in the next room getting a brazilian and specifically discussing the details of her genitalia on volume 4?
Anyway, I had my ipod, and my ringer on off. And a super slow hypnotic ambient mix that I created especially for the days I need to get into the Drone Zone…and god almight, I went there. This massage was SO good that I woke up drooling through the face hole thing on the table and had to actually get down and wipe up my babas off the ground!
So yea, if you want to escape the world for 30 minutes or so, hit Connie the Cultivator up at NailSpa LA in Chatsworth. Tell her Spa-View sent you and maybe I’ll get a discount. LOL!
