Jane Iredale Lip Gloss

Thanks to my glam~friend Diana Vilchis, who does the Most fantastic facials and massage, I was able to try outt a mini size Pure Gloss in Cherry Sparkle, and I’m really diggiing it. It stays on, and most importantly, my hair doesn’t stick to it when I’m driving! Don’t you hate when that happens

Andrea’s Waxing Studio

I’m super excited to have bought my first GroupOn.com coupon – I got $60 worth of waxing service at Andrea’s Waxing Studio which has a 5 star rating on Yelp.com for $30! WOOT!! Now the hard part…which service to get? I kind of am nervous to go to anyone else besides Katie at Skintuition for my hoo-haw waxing so I’m thinking maybe some eyebrow arching and my arms. Cus they both need it like whoa LOL.

Review coming soon!!

Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto Mascara is just OK.

The packaging is seductive, that is for sure. During today’s economic crunch, who can afford a pair of Christian Louboutins?? Not I, that is for sure. And so when I saw this lovely packaging with a mascara tube in the realm of a red heeled stiletto, I just HAD to have it…plus a few of my friends had said that it was great.

My review here pretty basic, just like Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto – it’s just OK. No big deal. Nothing fancy, you can probably get better results from the old school pink and green Great Lash. What a big disappointment in the product, however it DOES look rather sexy in my makeup drawer!!

MAC Releases Naked Honey

I love the promotional photo of the MAC Naked Honey line, but I think that is where the love ends. I have a strange sort of phobia re: honeycomb usage in design. Maybe because I am a designer, and is just not something you do…kind of like using helvetica as a title treatment. Anyway, if packaging doesn’t bother you, and you like honey-scented stuff, you might want to try out the Naked Honey line.

The bodycare line touts: A sensuous cream made from bio-converted honey and vitamin E derivatives, which to me doesn’t really tell me alot about the ingredients in the stuff. If it has alcohol in the first 5 listed ingredients, I totally do not recommend it. But that’s just me, giving you my opinion. I might try the Buzz tinted lipglass, but all the other stuff has the gross honeycomb imprints, so I won’t be getting those.
