Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto Mascara is just OK.
The packaging is seductive, that is for sure. During today’s economic crunch, who can afford a pair of Christian Louboutins?? Not I, that is for sure. And so when I saw this lovely packaging with a mascara tube in the realm of a red heeled stiletto, I just HAD to have it…plus a few of my friends had said that it was great.

My review here pretty basic, just like Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto – it’s just OK. No big deal. Nothing fancy, you can probably get better results from the old school pink and green Great Lash. What a big disappointment in the product, however it DOES look rather sexy in my makeup drawer!!

I just LOVE, and I mean L.O.V.E. Essie’s ‘Perky Purple‘ color!!! The bad news is, it won’t stay on my nails for more than 1 day successfully…even with all of my arsenal of no-chip top coat options, and I have a bunch of them!! Major bummer.

Mango Lassi
I had my first mango lassi today, a lovely smoothie type drink that is native to Indian cuisine. Our server said that it was pure organic mango puree and home made yogurt. All we knew, was that it was amazing!!! I came home and googled a recipe, and can’t wait to make it here for friends/family! Check it out:
Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chopped mango (peeled and stone removed)
4 teaspoons sugar, to taste
A dash of ground cardamom (optional)
Method
Put mango, yogurt, milk, sugar and cardamom into a blender and blend for 2 minutes, then pour into individual glasses, and serve. Can sprinkle with a little cardamom.
The lassi can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
Makes about 2 cups.
and trust me…you WILL enjoy!
