Jordan the Cocker Spaniel Adopt Me!

How cute are these puppies?? Check out their video and info page!

Serious adopters should immediately fill out an online adoption application at CampCocker.com – we are getting flooded with emails and phone calls. Please understand that we are volunteers trying to do the best that we can and the adoption application is the only way that we can try to consider all interested adopters.

JORDAN – the affectionate and smart boy who communicates to you with a little bark when he has to go outside to go potty. He loves to be held and cuddled but he also can get in there with his littermates and play rough and tumble with them. Jordan is the sneaky one who keeps finding new things to chew up, he is like the ring leader, LOL!

He is our favorite because he continues to out smart us at every step, but his good looks make up for all of his chewing. Born on 7-12-08, Jordan came from a litter that was born from a pregnant cocker we rescued. Adoption donation of $500 goes directly to the medical bills for the older and medical needs dogs that we’ve rescued in the last month. Part of the adoption agreement is a neuter contract that requires Jordan get neutered by the age of six months. Serious inquiries should fill out an online adoption application at CampCocker.com – we are getting many many applications and want to be sure to consider everyone. Thank you for supporting animal rescue! Check out his Petfinder.com for contact information!

This Christmas

Remember when having a little puppy was all the rage? Everyone simply HAD to have them, they were in style for heaven’s sake! Well, I take my old newspapers to the local dog shelter once a month or so for the Blankets of Love Drive and my last visit had me chit chatting with one of the intake specialists who told me that this year, there is a super high number of little dogs who have been brought to the shelter because their owners have either had to move in with family, lost their house, or had to relocate for job purposes. How sad :(

My mom is a realtor and she has told me a couple of stories about showing homes that have been foreclosed on, and getting there to find a dog that has been abandoned in the house, hungry and lonely. Times are tough all over. Here’s what I am going to do. It’s a tiny bit, but I’m going to start posting profiles of doggies that are looking for homes, and hopefully someone out there can provide a loving home to one of these tiny munchkins. I adopted Cha Cha and he has been the best, most rewarding part of my family! He’s cheap to feed, and he offers all the love you can ever imagine.

It’s times like these that make helping out however you can that will get us through. If you are considering getting a puppy or kitten for Christmas, perhaps you can consider adopting first. Trust me, it’s SOOOOooo worth it.

Love, Sylvia and Cha Cha

SkincareRX.com 2 the Rescue!

Dermalogica at SkincareRX.com

Dermalogica at SkincareRX.com

Remember when I posted “I’ve never met a Dermalogica product I didn’t like?” Well, I still hold that to be absolute truth, but I did end up buying the WRONG product once at the salon. Here is what happened: I was experiencing hormonal blemishes, which I suppose is just me (and there really isn’t a skincare product to supress that externally) and ended up buying the Dermalogica products for oily & acne prone skin. Dude. It TOTALLY dried my skin out. Which made me realize that I really didn’t have oily skin. A trip to my esthetician confirmed that I do have dry skin, actually. So long story short, I bought the wrong product. If you have oily skin, I am almost 100% sure that Dermalogica for oily skin will totally help you out.

Recently, SkincareRX.com website has brought to my attention a more customized process to select your products based on what your skin type is. Even some of the hardest to find skin types are mentioned: Dark skin, Sensitive skin, Eczema and Psoriasis, Melasma, Keratosis Pilaris and Rosacea are all addressed, with suggested remedies. All you have to do is select your skintype after you log on to SkincareRX.com and make your selection.

And by the way, Skincarerx.com is currently giving away a free Dermalogica duffel (while supplies last) with any $75 purchase, plus free shipping on any order over $49. Just FYI ;)
