Does anyone have any suggestions to help eliminate breaking out on my face after waxing? I’ve tried almost every single facial hair removal and have the best luck / less breakout with waxing (minus lazer hair removal) and am wondering if perhaps a topical something or other might help?

OMG wow. I promise you, you simply cannot make stuff like this up. Looking forward to trying it out this morning…and GuhRoss! Dude, it totally looks like phlegm. Its a phlegmy snotty green that looks like the description of what your kid’s snot should NOT look like when taking them to pre-school ( all you pre-school moms totally know what I’m talking about) … that yellowish-green gross stuff. And so I decide, and as we all know, sylviaG is as honest as one can be, to blog about it. So here we go. I google the good doctor’s product, and low and behold, Dr Gross MD Skincare All-in-One Facial Cleanser with Toner
pops up. I promise you I am not making this up - MD Skincare products are actually distributed/created by a Doctor Gross.
So there you have it. No need to dish out any more subjective thoughts, besides a real quick review: It’s gross, it’s ugly, I guess it works, but I’ve never compared it to snot being slathered all over my face either. Ugh. Times 2.

Ok so if you live anywhere in the LA area and still haven’t stopped by to visit PinkBerry, you just aren’t really an Angelino. period. Again with the multi-tasking snack options, beauty starts from the inside out and at 30-something, Coldstone just isn’t worth it…right? Not so fast glamgirl… Why not superfood a tasty snack? Here’s the lowdown so your not leaving the trendy dessert hot spot believing everything you read in the tabloids:
PinkBerry Lowdown: from pinkberry.com
Serving size is 1 ounce. Keep in mind that a medium has 8.5 oz so let’s say approx 210 calories plus whatever toppings you get - ( I always go for fruit so let’s give or take 80 calories for that - they do have candy toppings & other not too great choices so keep that in mind if you are counting calories). At that rate, I’m getting close to 300 calories for a medium dessert, plus close to 40 grams of sugar and 8 grams of protein (based on pinkberry’s nutritional guide which states 5 grams of sugar per ounce & 1 gram of protein).
ColdStone Lowdown: based on Coldstone.com’s website
Vanilla Light Ice Cream - medium size will run you approx 227 calories, 45 grams of sugar & 11 grams of protein. Add your toppings, which you can get a yummy combo of peanuts & fresh fruit to mix in your antioxidants & add to the fiber content and even if you are nowhere near a pinkberry, you can always get a small size and do even better for your bod than a medium pinkberry!

An in depth Q & A with Tracy Brame
Lash Stylist The Eyelash Spa
2473 S. Higley Road, Suite 101
Gilbert, AZ 85295

Ok girls, we all know that September is Lash Month, so in keeping with the theme, we’ve got a fabulous in depth convo about what exactly Eyelash Extensions are - finally, the secrets of the fabu-lash have come to surface, AND are only a phone call away!
Q: Ok Tracy - tell us what exactly Eyelash Extensions are…
A: Also known as eyelash tabbing and an eyelash weave, Eyelash Extensions are an exciting new product and technique for thicker, longer, and naturally abundant looking eyelashes. Eyelashes are made to look this way through professional application of an individual eyelash which is attached directly to the natural eyelash with a specially formulated eyelash extension bonding agent.

Q:Are they synthetic or are they animal hair? you know, we heard the J Lo rumors that she gets mink eyelashes, but we’re not trying to start anything…
The Eyelash Extensions I use are made of lightweight polyester fiber threads - a pliable synthetic material available in various curves, thicknesses and lengths. They do come in silk and human hair, but I find those too flimsy to last long or give the thicker look my clients want. Those mink lashes you hear about are available as strip lashes you apply yourself or have applied for you.
