Ok I am rather unsatisfied with this whole package I bought - the 3 blistex spa lip balm sticks come in scents typical of what the whole ’spa’ thing encompasses:
1. relaxation
2. tranquility
3. inspiration

how a lip balm can inspire you is beyond me, however I did find that these SUCK bigtime. Once you put it on, sure it smells divine, glides on smooth, but within 10 minutes your lips are even worse than when you put them on.

sounds like a conspiracy blistex!!! gimme my money back!

Or better yet, try these NON-horrible Blistex products!

Ok so I have just realized in the last couple of months or so that there are major improvements on the basic styling tools, and as a ‘glam-puss’ I feel rather annoyed that I fell so far behind. But anyway, here are my two suggestions/recent additions to my stock of hair tools that are AMAZING!T3 Ionic blowdryer - makes your hair super shiny, fluffy and smooth AND the hairdryer doesn’t get hot on your head. Even my dog’s hair is significantly bomb with the use of the ionic dryer!

T3 Ceramic flat iron - OK before you ask why I didn’t get a CHI flatiron like everyone else on this earth…I had a gift certificate for nordstroms for 200 bucks and I wasn’t really in the mood for shoes because it was closed toe season, so I checked out the hair products. This cute asian girl who probably wasn’t older than 19 says to me “you know what? I can see your flat iron marks , and if you had this one, I promise you you wont get them…I didn’t even know what the old flat iron marks were until a customer showed me” And I immediately felt old, and then compulsively bought it even with the non-sale $200 price tag. IT IS AMAZING!

you can flatten your hair in 1 smooth swipe -
the iron gets super duper hot in less than 1 minute
the iron makes your hair shiny and smooth.

TOTALLY WORTH THE INVESTMENT LADIES!!

Have any of you ladies used "Model in a Bottle"? Its like hairspray, but for your face/makeup. I give it a gazillion thumbs up…it is totally not sticky, doesn’t smell and seriously will hold your face up during most of the day and into the evening…

AND when it doesn’t cake up or anything when it’s time to come off (comes off easy). I saw it on Oprah’s makeup artist tutorial thing and thought it interesting so I ordered it from amazon.com and am totally in love now!

The facial kit boasts elimination of fine lines with the infusion of vitamin C. And Vitamin C is all the rage at all the skin-spa’s these days (or at least that’s what the posters and promotional material attest), so I put it on my amazon.com wish-list and before the month is up, it appears on my front door (thanks, bg).


Ok so it’s Sunday Diva Day - and it’s time to pamper myself. The directions are easy enough to follow – mix 1 orange bag and 1 white bag into the provided plastic dish and mix until creamy…done. I begin to apply it with the included fan facial brush and I’m thinking I’m only 10 minutes away from a silky smooth complexion. And then the fire starts.
